Role Description
A client of Insight Global is hiring a hands-on quality engineering role to support an automotive plastics manufacturing environment. The Quality Engineer will focus on identifying and resolving quality issues on the production floor, particularly related to plastic injection molding and assembly processes. The role is heavily focused on day-to-day quality support and audit preparation under IATF standards.
Must-Haves
Experience working in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
Exposure to or experience with IATF (automotive quality standard)
Understanding of quality issues related to plastic parts or materials
Ability to work directly on the production floor with presses and assembly lines
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Monitor presses and assembly lines for quality issues
Identify material issues and defects, including improperly injected plastic parts
Work closely with production teams to address and resolve quality concerns
Assist with preparation for IATF audits
