Job Title: Bakery Mixer Operator (Morning Shift)
Pay: $21/hour
Job Description
We are hiring a Bakery Mixer Operator to support daily production by operating mixing and food processing equipment in a fast-paced bakery environment. This role focuses on batching ingredients, monitoring product quality, and keeping equipment and work areas clean while following food safety and GMP standards. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
Operate mixing and food production equipment according to recipes and production specifications
Weigh, measure, and combine ingredients accurately to meet quality standards
Monitor dough and product consistency, quality, and output during production runs
Perform basic equipment checks, adjustments, and troubleshooting as needed
Follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety guidelines at all times
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas before, during, and after runs
Communicate issues or inconsistencies to supervisors promptly
Support production team with line coverage, breaks, and general assistance as needed
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of experience in food manufacturing, bakery, or production environment preferred
Comfortable working around industrial food processing or mixing equipment
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to read and follow production orders, recipes, and SOPs
Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift
Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, and twisting
Comfortable working in hot, noisy production environments
Must wear non-slip, oil/water-resistant safety shoes and required PPE

Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced bakery production facility that may be hot, loud, and physically demanding. There are noticeable baking-related aromas, and all employees must follow GMP and PPE requirements.Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
