Ideal Candidate:

An experienced technology professional with hands-on development and architecture background, knowledge of cloud platforms, and the skills to evaluate on-premise application architectures for migration to Azure Cloud.

Required Skills:

Key Responsibilities:

Practical experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

Hands-on Application Development Experience: You must have experience as a developer at some point in your career.

Familiarity with Application Architectures: Direct architecture experience is not required, but you should understand how application architectures work.

Network Knowledge: A solid understanding of network ports, protocols, and related infrastructure is essential.

Reliability and Resilience: Understanding how load balancing, high availability, Disaster recovery and fault tolerance mechanisms operate.

Application / web servers: A good understanding of application and web servers

Containers and Kubernetes: Basic knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes is beneficial, as some applications in the project are containerized.

Assess existing on-premise application architecture and create the target architecture for Azure Cloud. The target state architecture should be aligned with the project's guidelines and principles.

Collaborate with client-side application teams to understand their current infrastructure, application setups, and migration requirements.
