on a small but energized team of engineers to solve the many challenges of entering a dynamic new market, and we're seeking a full stack developer who can help us introduce this market to ground-breaking technology. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. Reporting to IntElect's software manager, this full stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering an amazing experience for end users in this dynamic market.

Objectives of this role

Build scalable solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth

Develop new features and infrastructure in support of changing business and project requirements

Assist in management of off-shore development partners as required

Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design

Advocate agile development methodologies, adhering to current best practices and standards

Responsibilities

Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, and deployment

Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed, ease-of-use, and scale

Engage with designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with back-end engineers to create reliable interfaces, including APIs

Collaborate across time zones using various tools, including GitHub and frequent videoconferences

Required skills and qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in building large-scale software applications

Experience in building web applications

Knowledge of Java and React as a minimum

Excellent debugging and optimization skills

Experience in integration testing

Preferred skills and qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering

Interest in learning new business models and markets
