Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid - Local candidates only)

Strong front-end development with Angular/React, Java-based REST API integration, SQL expertise, full SDLC knowledge, Git proficiency, and solid problem-solving skills.

Scope of Work:

The developer will:

Support a large web application portfolio, including older legacy platforms.

Focus on enhancing and maintaining existing applications while managing integration with a new system.

Implement feature requests, resolve defects, and optimize performance.

Use Angular for front-end development and Java/REST APIs for back-end services.

Build unit tests and ensure all updates meet stability, performance, and security standards. Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years experience with Angular or React (Angular preferred).

5+ years experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (Java / Spring Boot or equivalent).

5+ years strong SQL skills: writing complex queries, optimization, DB troubleshooting.

5+ years experience with full SDLC and modern methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

5+ years experience with Git version control (branching, merging, PR workflows).

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across the full application stack. Highly Desired:

2+ years experience in tax or financial technology systems.
