AWS DevOps Engineer (AWS + BigPanda)
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS infrastructure using best practices (IaC, automation, monitoring).
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CodePipeline.
Integrate monitoring and alerting tools with BigPanda to provide real-time incident visibility and automated correlation.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation / AWS CDK.
Collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and IT operations to ensure smooth code deployments and stable environments.
Optimize system performance, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring, alerting, and remediation.
Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
Participate in on-call rotation and support incident response as needed.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in cloud environments. Required Qualifications:
6+ years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
Hands-on experience with BigPanda, including event ingestion, alert correlation, and incident workflows.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment automation.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch Logs).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems in a distributed environment.
