Location: Hybrid - Carmel, IN - Onsite 3 days/week

The ideal candidate is a Carmel, IN resident with 5+ years of proven experience revising operating procedures, managing the full documentation lifecycle, and translating complex technical information into clear, concise content. They should also have hands-on experience with Document Management Systems, Human Performance Improvement (HPI) practices, or Project Management methodologies.
Position Overview: Client is seeking an experienced Technical Writer for maintaining Operating Procedures. Integral in interpreting complex technical information into understandable materials. The Technical Writer/Communication Analyst acts as reviewer/convener, user champion, editor, publisher, and promoter. Continuous improvement mind-set. This role works closely with Operations leadership and Control Center staff.
Position Duties:
Revise and maintain operating procedures throughout the full document lifecycle.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) for content validation and approval.
Serve as user champion, editor, and documentation convener.
Coordinate efforts across departments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality documents.
Present technical information clearly for a variety of internal audiences.
Promote consistency, compliance, and usability across all written materials.

Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or related field (or equivalent of 4 years of relevant experience).
