About the Role
We're seeking a strategic, hands-on Product Operating Model Coach/Owner to design, implement, and continuously evolve how we operate as a product organization. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating clarity, enabling teams, and transforming modern product thinking into measurable business impact.
You'll work closely with product leaders, engineers, and executive stakeholders to drive strategic alignment, accelerate value delivery, and cultivate a culture of collaboration and outcome-driven execution.
Key Responsibilities
Shape & Evolve the Operating Model
Refine, implement, and scale a product operating model that empowers autonomous teams while aligning with business strategy.
Balance flexibility with structure to support both rapidly scaling and mature product teams.
Coach & Enable Teams
Mentor Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and cross-functional leaders.
Embed best practices in product discovery, delivery, metrics, and agile ways of working.
Lead Change & Build Culture
Act as a change agent, guiding the organization through mindset and behavioral shifts.
Foster a product-first culture focused on customer outcomes and business value.
Drive Strategic Alignment
Ensure product teams are aligned with OKRs, business priorities, and investment themes.
Clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision-making across the organization.
Implement Tools, Frameworks & Rituals
Establish tools and rituals that enhance transparency, accountability, and team autonomy.
Build feedback loops to enable continuous improvement.
Bridge Strategy & Execution
Partner with executive leaders to provide visibility into portfolio priorities and outcomes.
Support cross-portfolio prioritization to maximize business impact. Qualifications
Experience
8+ years in Product Management, Product Coaching, Agile Coaching, or related fields.
3+ years driving product operating model design, transformation, or large-scale adoption.
Proven experience in modern product environments (dual-track Agile, empowered teams, lean delivery).
Skills & Mindset
Deep knowledge of product discovery, delivery, and lifecycle management.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Ability to zoom in on details while keeping a big-picture, strategic view.
Familiarity with OKRs, portfolio management, Agile/Lean principles, and continuous improvement.
Adaptability to thrive in both startup-style speed and enterprise-level complexity.
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience with scaled frameworks (Spotify, SAFe, Team Topologies, etc.).
Certifications in Product Management, Agile Coaching, SAFe, or Change Management.
Background in organizational design or large-scale transformation initiatives. What Success Looks Like
