RAPTOR is Vanguard's AI-powered troubleshooting assistant supporting Personal Investor front line crew as they aim to effectively handle client queries rapidly without opening follow up repair tickets. In 2025, RAPTOR prevented 24,000+ non-value-add RePAIR tickets and is projected to save $34M over the next decade. As a TS03 Technical Lead, you will guide RAPTOR's next evolution across AI, integrating product engineering responsibilities and product governance to ensure an innovative and performant architecture will drive a best in class experience for our clients.

Core Responsibilities

Advance RAPTOR's AI Agent (AWS Bedrock):

Lead improvements to reasoning quality, performance, guardrails, and interaction flows. Establish and uphold accuracy, latency, and safety benchmarks.

Guide FullStack UI & Service Development:

Oversee Angular and Python development, ensuring high quality code, maintainability, and a robust automated test suite.

Drive Integrations:

Expand RAPTOR's capabilities through integrations with other agents, APIs, and enterprise tools.

Technical Leadership & Governance:

Provide architectural direction, mentor developers, and enforce standards for code quality, observability, resiliency, and operational readiness.

Qualifications (Required)

Proficiency in Python, Angular/TypeScript, and cloud-native application development.

Experience with AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFront).

Demonstrated technical leadership across UI, backend, and cloud infrastructure.

Strong grounding in testing, performance governance, and secure API design.

Qualifications (Preferred)

AWS AI Practitioner Certification or similar

Familiarity with Dynamics, CrAVE, and/or InfoWave
