currently seeking a Operations Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Must haves:

- Data Feed Monitoring

-ticketing queue experience

"The vast majority of the expected workload will be working on data feed monitoring alerts from an incident ticketing queue. Some network and SQL scripting knowledge is helpful, but not a primary skillset requirement. If you have someone who is able to research an incident to identify where the root cause likely exists and to manage the escalation to other support teams, that is more in line with what these positions will be doing."

Responsibilities:

Ensure all production regulated messaging applications are performing and providing a stable platform

Manage and support of all applications that enable compliant supervision review of electronic communications

Responsible for service delivery to all Supervision & eDiscovery users

Successfully implement and validate application service changes

Maintain support relationships with eDiscovery and Legal teams to make sure business strategies are consistently met

Ensure that business partner priorities are identified, implemented and communicated as it pertains to Supervision policy management

Interface with EC Compliance to ensure adherence to compliance requirements via technical controls and reporting

Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teammates

Collaborate with vendors and outside technical support teams

Manage workloads based on priority and urgency

Responsible for creation and maintenance of knowledge base and procedural documentation

Requirements:

MS Windows Server

Secondary Skill

MySQL

Tertiary Skill

PowerShell

Required Skills

3 or more years of working in a technical operations role

Strong working knowledge of ITIL standards and practices

Proven problem solving skills

Proven analytical skills

Proven communication skills on a technical and non-technical level

Proven process documentation skills

Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and internet browsers

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting

Desired skills:

Exposure to electronic communications retention and supervision

Exposure to regulatory compliance rules and regulations

Experience with automation of recurring processes

SQL Scripting

PowerShell Scripting

Technical Certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, Network)

Technical Writing
