PeopleSoft Database Analyst -IV

Responsibilities

Review current database Exadata architecture and create a new Exadata database architecture.

Create a migration strategy/plan for migrating databases to new Exadata.

Migrate databases to new Exadata and provide tuning, troubleshooting, and automation as required.

Required Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of Oracle database performance tuning.

Experience migrating databases to/from Exadata platform.

Experience with Oracle releases 19.x and 26.x, RMAN, Data Guard, scripting and automation.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle database performance tuning.

Minimum 2 years of experience using multiple methods and technologies with RMAN, and Data Guard.

Minimum 3 years of experience performing detailed, highly technical root cause analysis of Oracle database systems.

Minimum 2 years of experience with ability to create scripts to automate processes in the Oracle database environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience in Higher Education - Highly complex environment, with diverse stakeholders.
