Desktop Publishing Specialist (Adobe InDesign) Contract 3 Months)

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Desktop Publishing Specialist (Adobe InDesign) for a 3-month contractual role to support our content production workflows.

The primary responsibility will be high-quality typesetting, layout design, and document formatting across various formats.

Key Responsibilities Perform typesetting and layout design using Adobe InDesign Format and structure content for: Books / eBooks Reports & whitepapers Ensure visual consistency, typography standards, and brand alignment Handle multi-language typesetting (Indian languages is a plus) Work with design templates and create new layouts where required Prepare print-ready and digital-ready files (PDF, EPUB, etc.) Collaborate with content, design, and product teams for revisions Manage quick turnarounds with high attention to detail Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign Good understanding of: Typography, grids, spacing, and layout principles Styles (paragraph, character, object styles) Master pages and long document handling Experience in typesetting large documents (100+ pages preferred) Familiarity with print production standards (bleed, margins, color profiles) Ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects Good to Have Knowledge of EPUB or digital publishing workflows Experience working with regional language content (Hindi, Tamil, etc.) Contract Details Duration: 3 Months Type: Contractual / Freelance Location: Remote / Hybrid (as applicable) Start Date: Immediate / Within 1–2 weeks
