Lead Truss Builder – 2nd Shift

Location: Punta Gorda, FL

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Shift: 2nd Shift – Afternoon/Evening (Overtime as needed)

Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Lead Truss Builder for a 2nd shift position at a truss manufacturing facility in Punta Gorda. This is a hands-on working lead role responsible for building roof and floor trusses while guiding a production team. The ideal candidate will help maintain productivity, quality, and safety during evening operations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support truss builders during 2nd shift

Build roof and floor trusses using engineered drawings

Assign tasks and keep production on schedule

Inspect work for quality and accuracy

Enforce safety rules and PPE compliance

Requirements:

3+ years of truss building experience

Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred

Ability to read truss drawings and blueprints

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
