Data Architect with 5+ years SQL, ETL, data modeling/architecture, Eagle PACE experience, investment systems knowledge, data pipeline development, and strong communication/documentation skills.
Data Architect to join a high-impact product team supporting enterprise Investments data initiatives. In this role, you will help build and evolve a trusted, integrated, and scalable data infrastructure that enables data-driven decision making across the Investments organization.
You'll play a central role in shaping the Investments data strategy, maintaining and enhancing the Investment Data Warehouse, optimizing Portfolio Management applications, and driving continuous improvement in data quality, reporting, and governance.
This role is ideal for candidates with deep Eagle PACE experience, strong SQL and ETL skills, and a passion for solving complex data challenges in a dynamic financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Integration
Design, develop, and integrate Investment databases and data models.
Build advanced SQL queries against base and aggregate tables.
Develop data pipelines to transform vendor data into Investment systems.
Maintain data management standards ensuring proper schema design for performance and analytics.
Eagle PACE & Investment Systems Support
Hands-on work with Eagle PACE warehouse components including scheduling, reporting, stewardship, schemas, and portals.
Utilize Eagle v2017 modules: Portfolio Data Center, Message Center, Automation Center, Scheduler, Workflow Manager, Reference Data Center, Recon Center, etc.
Execute and validate Eagle maintenance releases with pre- and post-data/software validations.
Provide technical support to investment control systems including report/program creation and troubleshooting. Required Qualifications
5+ years experience in data analysis, data modeling, or data architecture
5+ years SQL development experience
5+ years ETL design and implementation for complex multi-source models
4+ years Eagle database environment experience, including schema architecture
4+ years working in Eagle PACE as a data integrator building data pipelines
Proven experience with orchestration and automation of database processes
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution (or relevant experience)
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Preferred Skills & Experience
Background in investment accounting, general accounting, reconciliation, or procedure documentation
Understanding of data marts, ETL concepts, and data warehousing principles
Experience with:
Crystal Reports
.NET (VB or C#)
MS SQL Server, Oracle
MS Access/Excel
FIX, SWIFT, XML
IWS/Eagle ML
Experience implementing Eagle STAR/PACE software upgrades
Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Comfortable working in Agile environments and with DevOps/DataOps practices (CI/CD)
