Overview
The Appian Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business process automation solutions using the Appian low-code platform.
Responsibilities
Design & Development: Build custom applications and automation solutions on the Appian platform.
Requirements Analysis: Partner with stakeholders and business analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Process Modeling: Develop and optimize workflows and process models within Appian.
Integration: Implement integrations with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
User Interface (UI): Design responsive, user-friendly interfaces using SAIL and Appian tools.
Data Management: Create and manage data models while ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Testing & Debugging: Conduct testing to validate functionality, performance, and security.
Maintenance & Optimization: Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and maintain existing Appian applications.
Documentation: Produce technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Appian Expertise: Strong proficiency in the Appian platform, including Appian UI, RPA development, and integration patterns.
Low-Code Development: Hands-on experience with low-code development methodologies.
BPM Knowledge: Solid understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) concepts and tools.
Software Development: Background in software engineering with experience in Java, JavaScript, J2EE, or C#.
Problem-Solving: Skilled in analyzing complex challenges and creating scalable solutions.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and documentation.
