Machine Operator Assistant (1st Shift)

Job Description

Primary Duties:

Assist senior operators with the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment such as winders and coating machines

Monitor machine performance, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or potential issues

Participate in routine cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols

Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products

Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and procedures

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required based on production.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to read a tape measure and complete basic mathematic equations

Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn new skills are highly valued

Reliable and consistent attendance record

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
