The PositionGeneral Accountant

Job Summary

Role:

Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in line with accounting standards

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Prepare and review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness

Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations

Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls

Responsabilities:

Managing and tracking payment processes for three different group companies

Perform daily accounting operations using ERP systems (SAP is preferred.)

Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit processes

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

Support VAT refund process preparation and follow-up

Report directly to the Country Finance Manager

Accountability:

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within accounting systems

Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all accounting transactions

Ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting requirements

Key competencies:

Fluent in written and spoken English

Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes

Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking skills

Team player with effective communication skills

Ideal background/ experience:

University Degree, Business School or equivalent experience

2 – 3 years experience in accounting with SAP Knowledge
