Youth Respite Provider – Willing to work 1:1 with 5-year old child and give mom some free time to herself

We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Youth Respite Provider to work with an energetic young boy in the Chippewa Falls area. This role focuses on providing 1:1 support that promotes emotional regulation, ensures safety, and fosters a structured yet nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to helping the child thrive through consistent routines and gentle guidance.

Location: Chippewa Falls, WI

Compensation: $14.13/Hour

Flexible schedule: 5 hours per week- Primarily weekends and some after school hours

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide one-on-one safety-focused care and constant supervision during all indoor and outdoor activities.

· Help the child navigate self-regulation during behavioral challenges.

· Engage the child in supportive and age-appropriate activities such as walks, movement games, and quiet time.

· Maintain open communication with the parents.

· Assist with daily living tasks such as: changing briefs, bathing, meal prep, and companionship.

Requirements:

· Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check

· Experience working with children with behaviors

· Authorization to work in the U.S.

· Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
