Technical Background Needed!

CNC Operator Trainee Position Summary:

Assist the machine shop by performing saw cutting, deburring, manual lathe operation, CNC machine operation.

CNC Operator Trainee Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Loading and unloading of materials into various machines.

General good housekeeping practices within work area.

Review work center for maintenance compliance.

Maintain correct time reporting and accurate entries on applicable manufacturing documentation.

Comply with company quality and safety requirements

CNC Operator Trainee Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):

High School Diploma, GED or higher education

1 year with CNC Operator experience

Ability to use power tools

Ability to use hand tools

Ability to pay attention to a single task for long periods of time

Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions (English)

Machine shop experience a plus

Blueprint reading a plus

Use of Inspection tools as plus

Basic math skills needed, shop math and trigonometry

Use of various manual machine shop equipment a plus

Physical requirements:

Ability to stand/sit for several hours

Ability to lift 50lbs
