CAREER OPPORTUNITY - SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Our client, a well-established wholesale company with over 37 years in the industry, specialises in a wide range of dry and frozen food products to hotels and restaurants. We are currently seeking a proactive and self-motivated sales professional to join their team as a Sales Representative.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with Senior Management to develop strategies to increase sales in market (Hotels, Restaurants, Villas etc).
• Marketing, promotion and sales of all products within the portfolio.
• Managing, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective customers to increase market share.
• Analysing market trends and assisting in identifying potential growth opportunities.
• Ensuring all orders are processed and customers’ queries are responded to promptly.
• Communicating any delays and/or variances of orders to customers as soon as possible, providing alternatives when suitable.
• Monitoring and safeguarding that adequate stock levels are attained with seasonal demand.
• Working with client management to facilitate product training and awareness for company products.
• Providing recommendations to improve customer service efficiencies and suggesting relevant learning to enhance sales capabilities and product knowledge.
The Candidate
The Sales Representative should possess:
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in sales, preferably within the food or hospitality sectors.
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with key stakeholders.
• A goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• A valid drivers’ license and their own vehicle.
• Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite namely Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
