Machine Operator

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor molding/extrusion machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality, maintain efficiency in production, and follow all safety and operational standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, test, and operate molding/extrusion equipment according to production specifications

Monitor machinery during operation to detect malfunctions and ensure optimal performance

Inspect finished products to verify they meet required size, shape, and quality standards

Perform visual quality checks and report any defects or inconsistencies

Carry out secondary operations as needed to support production goals

Maintain production efficiency and meet established deadlines

Clean tools and equipment and perform basic preventive maintenance

Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with company standards

Follow all workplace safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
