Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that manufactured goods meet established quality standards. This position involves performing detailed inspections using both manual and automated tools, identifying defects, and documenting findings to maintain product integrity. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the inspector supports compliance verification and equipment calibration efforts to uphold consistent quality control.

Responsibilities

Inspect manufactured products to verify quality standards

Perform quality control checks and defect identification

Document inspection results accurately and in a timely manner

Verify compliance with industry and company regulations

Report findings and escalate issues to the Quality Manager

Calibrate inspection equipment regularly for accurate measurements

Utilize manual inspection tools and automated inspection systems effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in quality inspection

Associate's degree in quality assurance or related field

Strong attention to detail

Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Knowledge of inspection tools and techniques

Basic mathematical skills for measurement and analysis

Proficient in documentation and reporting
