Warehouse Machine Operator – Night Shift

Location: Clifton, NJ

Rate: $24.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time Night Shift 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Includes Two 30-Minute Breaks

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Machine Operator to join our night shift team in Clifton, NJ. This position requires operating both a Turret Forklift and a Stand-Up Forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates must be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently during overnight operations.

Training Schedule

All new hires will begin with a required training period on a temporary daytime schedule:

Training Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Once training is successfully completed, employees will transition to the regular night shift schedule of 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Responsibilities

Safely operate turret forklifts and stand-up forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize inventory

Pick, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse

Perform put-away, replenishment, and order fulfillment tasks

Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse systems

Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas

Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns

Follow all company safety procedures

Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience operating a turret forklift and stand-up forklift required

Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Must be comfortable working overnight shifts

Interview Process

As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to complete a practical equipment operation assessment to demonstrate their ability to safely and efficiently operate both turret and stand-up forklifts. This evaluation helps ensure proper skill level and workplace safety.
