Benefits Manager

Salary Range: $100,000–$115,000
A respected professional services organization is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to lead the strategy, administration, and ongoing enhancement of employee benefits programs for both professional and administrative staff. This role ensures benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and cost effective while delivering a high quality employee experience in a fast paced environment.
The Benefits Manager serves as the subject matter expert on employee benefits, working closely with leadership, finance, vendors, and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of all employee benefit programs
Manage annual open enrollment, including vendor coordination and employee communications
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local benefits regulations
Oversee relationships with brokers, carriers, and third party administrators, including RFPs and contracts
Partner with finance and leadership on benefits budgeting and cost management
Resolve complex benefits issues, claims escalations, and leave administration matters
Analyze utilization and trends to recommend enhancements and improve the employee experience
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
5–7+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration; professional services experience preferred
Strong knowledge of benefits compliance, retirement plans, and vendor management
Experience working with brokers, carriers, and third party administrators
Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration platforms; strong Excel skills preferred
