They provide administrative support to the human resources function.
Responsibilities
Administer health and welfare plans including enrollments and terminations. Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
Participation in the annual enrollment process. Strives to ensure employee understanding of the benefit programs by compiling communication materials, meeting and seminars.
Conducts new hire orientation at the assigned site to ensure employees gain an understanding of all benefits plans and enrollment provisions. Work with Managers to ensure employees office requirements are setup prior to the first day.
Performs recruitment activities, interviews and evaluates candidates for select positions at the assigned site.
Maintains the corporate wellness program ensuring employee engagement.
Prepare government reports related to workers comp, EEO compliance and other HR functions.
Maintain personnel files ensuring compliance at assigned site.
Prepare employment paperwork such as offer, promotion and termination packets.
Serve as point of contact for corporate HRIS system ensuring complete accuracy and compliance. Work with Payroll Dept. to ensure all required backup is provided in a timely fashion prior to payroll processing.
Required Qualifications
BS in Business Administration or equivalent experience in similar role/degree
Minimum of two years’ experience in corporate environment
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
