Front of House Manager — Claw & Hammer Fine Dining Restaurant

Claw & Hammer Fine Dining Restaurant is seeking a dynamic, polished, and hospitality driven Front of House Manager to lead our guest facing operations. This is an opportunity to join a refined, coastal inspired dining destination known for exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and a warm, sophisticated atmosphere.

As our FOH Manager, you will be the face of the guest experience—cultivating memorable moments, elevating service standards, and inspiring a high performing team. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef and leadership team to ensure every detail of service reflects the excellence our guests expect.

What You’ll DoGuest Experience & Service Excellence

Create a welcoming, seamless, and unforgettable fine dining experience for every guest.

Uphold elevated service standards—from timing and presentation to table settings and guest engagement.

Address guest concerns with professionalism, warmth, and poise.

Maintain the perfect dining room ambiance, including lighting, cleanliness, music, and overall atmosphere.Staff Leadership & Training

Recruit, train, and mentor a top tier FOH team (hosts, servers, bartenders, bussers).

Provide ongoing coaching and development to support growth and performance.

Build and manage staff schedules that balance guest needs and labor efficiency.

Lead pre shift meetings to align the team on service goals and menu updates.Operational Management

Oversee daily FOH operations to ensure flawless service execution.

Manage reservations and seating flow to maximize guest satisfaction.

Partner with BOH leadership to deliver a cohesive, elevated dining experience.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.Administrative & Financial Responsibilities

Support budgeting, cost control, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Manage inventory of FOH supplies, linens, uniforms, and service tools.

Assist with special events, private dining experiences, and wine or tasting programs.

Prepare reports on service performance, staffing, and guest feedback.

What You Bring

2–4 years of FOH experience in upscale or fine dining; 1–2 years in a leadership role preferred.

Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Exceptional communication skills and a guest first mindset.

Deep knowledge of fine dining service standards, wine, and culinary terminology.

Calm, confident professionalism in fast paced, high pressure environments.

Familiarity with reservation platforms and POS systems.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
