Job Title:Direct Support Professional (DSP) Evening shifts
Position Type:Part-Time
Shift:Evening (typically 5:00 PM 9:00 PM)

Job Summary:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides compassionate, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live safe, meaningful, and independent lives. This part-time evening position focuses on assisting individuals with daily routines, personal care, and community or program preparation in a respectful, person-centered manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with evening routines including hygiene, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation in their homes.
Promote independence, dignity, and choice in all activities.
Provide transportation from day programs or community activities as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation.
Support skill development, communication, and positive social interactions.
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established procedures.
Work collaboratively with Supervisors, Program Coordinators, families, and team members.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid drivers license for 5 years, valid insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and complete ongoing training requirements.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate, respectful attitude.
Must also have every other weekend availability.
