Job Title: Polysomnographic Technologist

Location: Humble, TX 77338

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech) to perform diagnostic sleep studies and deliver high-quality patient care in a clinical sleep lab setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in conducting overnight studies, monitoring patients, and ensuring accurate data collection while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.Responsibilities:

Prepare and conduct overnight sleep studies in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols

Review patient history, medications, and sleep patterns prior to testing

Interview patients to assess sleep concerns and determine appropriate interventions

Monitor patients during studies and ensure accurate data collection

Perform complex sleep study procedures and evaluations across all patient populations

Adhere to safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and quality standards

Support professional development and assist in mentoring less experienced staff

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

Perform additional duties as assignedRequirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

Strong clinical and technical skills in sleep studies

Ability to work independently and in a team environmentCertifications & Licensure:

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredPhysical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75–100 lbs and carry up to 30 lbs as needed

Ability to support patient handling and work in a clinical setting
