Attorney

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join a growing firm in the Columbus, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for exposure to complex matters. This role requires a proactive, organized attorney who can manage a varied caseload and collaborate effectively with both colleagues and clients.

What will you be doing?

Manage all phases of litigation, from initial case intake through trial and resolution.

Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Engage in discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.

Utilize case management software and technology to streamline workflows and ensure efficient case handling.

Maintain high standards of data integrity and confidentiality while managing case files.

Collaborate with lead attorneys to deliver reliable and high-quality legal work product.

Navigate multiple deadlines and projects in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Foster positive relationships with clients, staff, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Take on increasing levels of responsibility to grow as a litigator.

Requirements:

License to practice law in Ohio.

4+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for exposure to complex litigation.

Demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Show proficiency in civil litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation.

Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume docket.

Display familiarity with case management software and technology tools.

Work effectively both independently and within a team dynamic.

Maintain professionalism and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
