Pharmacy Tech- Contract

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional service.

In this role, you will maintain accurate patient records, assist with prescription processing, respond to coverage and pricing inquiries, and collaborate closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure timely, compliant care.

This is a 6 week contract position and training will be in Portland.

Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain accurate patient profiles including demographics, insurance, and medication detailsSupport prescription processing, data entry, filling, shipping, inventory, and call center operationsAnswer routine patient and staff inquiries regarding drug coverage, pricing, formularies, and servicesUtilize the electronic medical record to communicate with care teams regarding refills and non-clinical medication questionsEnsure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, state, federal, and Board of Pharmacy regulationsBalance efficiency and quality in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredActive state pharmacy license or ability to obtain within 14 days (required)National Pharmacy Certification preferredPrevious pharmacy or medical office experience preferredStrong computer, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills If you are motivated, customer-focused, and thrive in a high-production healthcare setting, we invite you to apply and join our team dedicated to excellent patient care.
