Position Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is energetic, knowledgeable about sports, and ready to lead from the front. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, with a strong focus on delivering a great in-store experience while helping manage daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with customers and provide excellent service on the sales floor
Assist customers in buying, selling, and trading sporting goods
Maintain a broad knowledge of sports and sporting equipment across multiple categories
Help manage and support store staff, including training and day-to-day leadership
Oversee registers, handle transactions, and ensure accuracy in cash handling
Assist with merchandising, inventory organization, and store presentation
Support store operations including opening/closing proceduresQualifications
Strong interest in sports and sporting equipment (multi-sport knowledge preferred)
Previous retail or customer service experience (management experience is a plus)
Comfortable leading a team and working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
