Job Summary - Join our North Market bakery team as a Packer/Delivery Driver. As part of Littletons Market, youll be helping supply our Upper Arlington and our downtown locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with packing and driving, but we are willing to train the right candidate if they have some prior experience.

Responsibilities:

Packaging & Labeling: Wrap, bag, or box finished products safely and efficiently

Order Assembly: Sort products by destination (wholesale/retail), packing them according to pick sheets or invoices

Quality Control: Inspect items for defects, such as improper baking or damage, and remove defective items

Sanitation: Clean and sanitize the packing area, tools, and equipment to maintain food safety standards

Inventory Tracking: Stock packing materials and accurately record production data

Loading & Unloading: Carefully load bakery products, ensuring fragile items like cakes are secure to avoid damage

Timely Delivery: Follow predetermined routes and schedules, often starting early in the morning, to ensure on-time delivery

Customer Service: Act as the face of the bakery, interacting professionally with clients at wholesale or retail locations

Documentation: Handle invoices, receipts, and electronic payments

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and operational

Route Optimization: Utilize navigation tools to plan efficient routes, particularly in busy urban areas

Any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Must have valid driver's license.

Must be able to drive delivery van comfortably and safely

Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull 50 pounds

Must be able to lift, bend, crouch, etc.

Must be able to follow written instructions and have a high aptitude for detail

Ability to withstand extreme temperatures for short periods of time

Must be able to stand continuously for 8-10 hours

Must be able to work effectively in a team setting
