Position Overview

The QC Technician supports the Piping Business Unit by ensuring installation quality, weld integrity, and compliance with project and industry standards. This role works closely with field teams to maintain quality across semiconductor and high-purity process piping installations, with the ability to operate independently and identify issues early.

Key Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections of welds and piping installations.

Review isometrics, specifications, and installation practices.

Identify quality issues, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

Track weld failures, maintain weld logs, and analyze quality trends.

Verify pressure testing, cleanliness, and system turnover readiness.

Coordinate directly with field crews to resolve quality issues.

Support and mentor junior QC personnel as needed.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in cleanroom, semiconductor process piping, or high-vacuum piping environments.

Strong experience with orbital and manual weld inspection.

Strong understanding of weld acceptance criteria and ASME B31.3 standards.

Ability to manage quality scope with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with high-purity process piping systems.

Prior experience working on semiconductor or cleanroom construction projects.
