Our client, a large financial services company, is seeking an experienced Recruiter for a 6+ month contract assignment. This role is hybrid, working onsite 1 day (Wednesdays) per week in the clients South Charlotte location.
How you’ll contribute:
As a Senior Recruiter, you’ll be for executing full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned requisitions across multiple functions and levels as a key partner to hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team. This role plays a critical part in translating business needs into actionable recruiting strategies by validating role requirements, supporting job description development, sourcing and screening qualified candidates, managing candidate flow, and supporting offer execution. The Senior Recruiter ensures a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience through consistent communication, thoughtful assessment, and adherence to established recruiting processes, timelines, and compliance requirements.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Manage full cycle recruiting execution for assigned requisitions, including intake and requirement validation, direct sourcing, resume review, video behavioral and/or technical screening, candidate evaluation, and support through interview and offer stages
Deliver consistent, high quality candidate pipelines in a competitive market through proactive direct sourcing, networking, and talent mapping
Partner closely with assigned hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to support job description refinement, clarify role requirements, and align on approved compensation ranges and hiring parameters
Maintain clear, timely communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process, setting accurate expectations related to role scope, process, timing, and compensation
Provide regular pipeline updates to hiring managers and Talent Acquisition partners, offering candidate insights, pipeline health metrics, and market feedback to inform hiring decisions.
Support and facilitate the offer process, including candidate engagement, alignment to approved compensation ranges, and coordination with Talent Acquisition leadership through offer completion
Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and supporting multiple stakeholders across levels of the organization
Ensure all recruiting activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Follow established Talent Acquisition processes and tools, and support hiring managers by reinforcing standard recruiting practices and expectations
We’re looking for people who have:
Minimum of 3+ years of recruiting experience in a corporate and/or agency environment, with demonstrated success managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced setting
Strong, recent hands-on experience with core recruiting techniques, including direct sourcing, screening, candidate assessment, and pipeline management
Prior experience in sales recruiting, preferably within financial services, strongly preferred.
Prior experience recruiting for External Wholesale roles is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to proactively source and engage passive candidates through direct outreach and networking
Proven success filling roles where 60%+ of candidate pipelines are generated through sourcing rather than inbound applications
Experience supporting compensation discussions and offer execution within predefined ranges, including candidate education and alignment through the offer process
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leaders, supported by clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience recruiting within financial services or similarly regulated environments preferred
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities
Self-directed and highly accountable, with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Working knowledge of HR policies, recruiting processes, and compliance requirements, with the ability to operate within established procedures and tools
Pay Rate- $48.72 - $50.72/hour
