Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lead Carpenter to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates well on-site, and is interested in growing into a larger role within the company over time.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality carpentry work across a range of residential remodeling projects (kitchens, bathrooms, additions, etc.)
Assist the Project Manager with on-site coordination and daily job site activities
Meet and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and to standard
Help manage job site workflow, materials, and sequencing of trades
Participate in inspections and develop familiarity with local building requirements as skills grow
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
What We’re Looking For
Solid carpentry experience in residential remodeling
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly with team members, subcontractors, and clients
Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow with the company
Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt on the job
Requirements
Own transportation (truck or van preferred)
Own tools appropriate for residential carpentry work
Valid driver’s license
Reliable and punctual
Compensation
$25–$40 per hour, based on experience and skill set
