Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our client’s healthcare team in Clarksburg, WV. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, ensuring high-quality care and patient comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance

Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Perform basic wound care and dressing changes

Collect specimens (blood, urine, etc.) as needed

Observe patients and report changes in condition to RN or physician

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems

Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment instructions

Ensure compliance with all facility policies and Florida nursing regulations

Requirements:

Active West Virginia LPN license (required)

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

Current BLS/CPR certification

Minimum 1 years of experience (behavioral health preferred)

Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple prioritiesCompany Description
