Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact in the lives of elementary students by delivering specialized education services as a Special Education Teacher with a focus on dyslexia interventions. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with K-5 students in a supportive school environment. The role begins July 27, 2026, and encompasses a full 37.5-hour workweek across five days.

Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience working within school settings, supporting diverse learning needs

Valid licensure, with training in a tier 2 or 3 intervention (literacy or math) required

Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field

Proven ability to deliver specialized instruction and accommodations for learners with dyslexia

Role Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and small group instruction to elementary students, focusing on literacy or math interventions in accordance with tier 2 or 3 requirements

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and individualized accommodations

Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress and success

Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings

Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students
