About the Employer

The Goleta Union School District (GUSD) serves approximately 3,384 students in preschool through sixth grade across nine elementary schools. All schools offer transitional kindergarten and strong support services, including special education and mental health, in addition to after-school care at all nine schools supporting approximately 1,500 students. GUSD offers embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners across the district. Each school maintains a 1.0-1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students.

Job Summary

40 hours per week. Location El Camino School.

Under the direction of the Expanded Learning administrator, organize and lead a group of After School Program (ASP) Staff to provide supervision, enrichment, and general care of students in an after school setting. Provide direction to assigned ASP Group Leaders in the development and implementation of the planned program. Maintain close, daily contact with site ASP staff to support and guide the implementation of program objectives and standards. Develop and maintain consistent communication with site principals and assigned ASP Academic Liaisons. Develop and maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding the program, scheduling, and students.
