Description

Responsible for the collection and sealing of horse urine samples in accordance with Ohio Racing Commission.

Responsibilities

All duties associated with the upkeep of the test barn.

Collection and sealing of horse urine samples

Understand and practice Family Style Service at all times with all guest and team members.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Test barn technician shall be responsible for the collection and sealing of horse urine samples in accordance with chain of custody procedures and adhering to test barn operational procedures.

Working hours and days are designated by the Racing Secretary in concurrence with scheduled post time.

Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods.

May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.

Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing.

Must be able to pass a background investigation.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds

Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds

Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively

Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment

Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period

Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period

Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
