Position Overview:
The Front Office Associate is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in/check out patients
Answer phones and manage incoming calls professionally
Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
Verify insurance and collect co-pays
Maintain accurate patient records and demographics
Handle faxes, scanning, and general administrative tasks
Assist with chart preparation and document management
Communicate effectively with clinical staff and patients
Qualifications:
Prior medical office experience preferred (neurology or specialty clinic a plus)
Knowledge of insurance verification and basic billing concepts
Strong computer skills (EMR experience preferred)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Schedule:
Part-time (2–3 days per week or as needed)
Must be available on clinic days (e.g., Tuesday/Wednesday if applicable)
