Job Overview

We are seeking a highly trained and vigilant ARMED Security Officer to join our team in, TX. This role involves maintaining safety and security at designated sites through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, military experience, or security operations, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. This position offers an opportunity to serve and protect while ensuring the safety of personnel and property.

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Requirements:

Must have a valid Level 2 or Level 3 Guard Card

Prior experience is required

Military and/or Law Enforcement experience required

Must possess a Firearm Permit and/or CCW

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to remain calm and de-escalate situations effectively

Must know how to accurately complete a DAR

Must be able to stand and/or patrol for 3+ hours

Flexible availability; must be able to work variable hours

Responsibilities

Monitor premises using CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security

Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR

Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, loss, or unauthorized access

Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills

Document incidents thoroughly and accurately in reports for future reference

Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist during investigations

Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and ensure a secure environment

Skills

Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is preferred

Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable

Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems

Ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and effectively

Excellent observation skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols

Ability to remain alert during long shifts and respond quickly in emergency situations

Effective communication skills for reporting incidents and coordinating with team members
