Overview:

Reid Park Memorial Golf Course is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and forward-thinking Head Golf Professional / General Manager to lead all aspects of golf operations and facility management. This is a unique leadership opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the game, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Experience Required

PGA Member or Associate preferred

Proven experience in golf operations, facility management, or a similar leadership role

Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue management

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Passion for golf and commitment to delivering a top-tier player experience

Essential Responsibilities:

Golf Operations

Oversee all daily golf operations including tee sheet management, tournaments, leagues, and instructional programs

Maintain a high standard of customer service and player experience

Manage merchandising, inventory, and retail operations within the golf shop

Organize and execute tournaments, outings, and special events

Facility & Business Management

Lead overall course operations including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting

Monitor financial performance, control expenses, and drive revenue growth

Collaborate with ownership on strategic planning, capital improvements, and long-term vision

Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety standards

Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, train, and mentor staff across golf operations and customer-facing roles

Foster a positive, accountable, and service-oriented team culture

Set clear expectations and maintain high performance standards

Customer Experience & Community Engagement

Build strong relationships with members, guests, and the local community

Address feedback professionally and implement improvements

Promote the course through events, partnerships, and outreach initiatives
