Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client’s healthcare team in Olmsted County, Minnesota. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and perform comprehensive nursing assessments

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed

Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately

Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and aftercare

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care

Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety standards

Requirements

Active Minnesota RN license (required)

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN)

Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred depending on setting)

Minimum 1 years of nursing experience (correctional facility preferred)

Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
