Description:

We have a need for a Supply Chain Manager with a client company of ours that is part of a Fortune 100 company. They are a global supplier of industrial components to the aerospace, construction, and transportation markets.

This Sr.-level position will be part of the Executive Management team and be responsible for directing the Supply Chain activities at multiple manufacturing facilities located in the metro Minneapolis area. This includes the Sales & Operational Planning process, Master scheduling, Production Planning & Control, Inventory Management, and Master data control and analysis.

Key responsibilities will include:

•Managing the forecasting, order management, production planning, warehouse, procurement, capacity planning, supplier quality assurance and transportation operations into a single integrated world-class supply chain organization

•Define, design and implement supply chain tools necessary to support a word-class supply chain

•Build a world-class supply chain organization through identifying, coaching and mentoring talent as part of an overall succession planning effort

•Perform strategic sourcing and capacity versus requirements studies to ensure efficient and effective deployment/utilization of resources to meet demand

•Establish short-term and long-term objectives for the supply-chain organization which will enable the division to meet or exceed its business objectives

•Establish continuous improvement processes and culture. Continually analyze process and procedures for opportunities to eliminate waste, streamline for efficiency and utilization of emerging tools and techniques

To be successful in this position, potential candidates should have the following:

-Bachelors degree

-10+ years experience in a Supply Chain function

-Previous supervisory experience

-Experience in a manufacturing environment (i.e. automotive, aerospace, machining, automation, etc.)

-Excellent communication and leadership skills

-Ability to wear multiple hats
