Position: Electrical Engineering Chart Analysis Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $85–$95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on electrical engineering problems.

Produce original problem sets using frequency response plots, Bode diagrams, Smith charts, and performance curves.

Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.

Collaborate with AI research teams to improve task quality and throughput.

Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD in Electrical Engineering, or MS in EE with 3+ years circuit, systems, or signal processing experience, or BS in EE with 5+ years applied EE, design, or test experience.

Working fluency in at least two of: signals and systems, control systems, communications, power, electromagnetics.

Comfortable interpreting frequency response plots, Bode diagrams, Smith charts, and performance curves.

Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.

Compensation & Legal

Hourly contractor with a starting rate of $85/hour.

Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.
