Job Title: Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Location: McLean, VA or Richmond, VA

Duration: 9 months

Pay Rate: $65 - $75

Job/Role Description:

This role supports a large internal application focused on email templates.

The team is actively improving functionality and user experience for internal users in a small team environment with high visibility.

Work across the entire stack using React and Redux for the frontend, Node.js for the backend, and PostgreSQL for data management.

Utilize AWS Lambda and AWS ECS for backend infrastructure.

Implement unit tests and end-to-end tests with Mocha, Jest, Playwright, and Vitest to ensure high code quality.

Exercise autonomy to solve ambiguous problems while demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.

Required Qualifications

Senior Developer with 5+ years of experience

Strong communication skills

High productivity and ability to work independently

Mandatory experience with React, Redux (must-have), Node.js, AWS Lambda, AWS ECS, and PostgreSQL

End-to-end testing experience required with Mocha, Jest, Playwright, and Vitest
