Lead Data Engineer – Downtown Columbus, Ohio

What you’ll bring:
The ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving and technical skills with a sense of self-direction and ability to support the data needs of multiple initiatives and use cases at the same time
A bachelor’s degree in related field with at least 6 years of experience a hands-on engineering role
A total of 10 years of direct and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Have experience planning, leading and managing initiatives
Have experience with MS SQL Business Intelligence platforms such as SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSRS
Have a proficiency in integrating and pulling data via API’s
Previous experience with ETL and scheduling tools
A proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.
At least 2 years previous supervisory experience
Must be willing and able to abide by the OPERS Personal Trading Policy
