About the Opportunity
Berkshire Search Partners is partnering with a leading engineering, construction, and infrastructure organization seeking a Construction Project Manager to support large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects across multiple industries.
This position is responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through execution and closeout, ensuring successful delivery related to safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex construction projects in industrial, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, transportation, or related environments.
This is a field-oriented role requiring strong leadership, coordination, and project execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day construction activities for EPC and construction management projects
Oversee project safety, quality, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control efforts
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
Support project planning, staffing, forecasting, and execution strategies
Manage subcontractor agreements, RFPs, change orders, and contract administration
Maintain client relationships and support project communication efforts
Track project progress, documentation, reporting, and field operations
Lead project closeout, commissioning support, and turnover activities
Mentor project personnel and support field team development
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and project requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Construction, or related field preferred
7+ years of project management experience within construction or EPC environments
Experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of:
Project scheduling
Cost control and forecasting
Construction execution
Contract and subcontractor management
Experience working on active construction sites and coordinating field operations
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
