Hands-on experience in z/OS Connect EE (Enterprise Edition), including configuration, integration and setup. Terms:

JCL (Job Control Language): is a scripting language used on IBM mainframe operating systems (like z/OS) to instruct the system how to execute jobs. It essentially tells the system what programs to run, what data to use, and what resources are needed for a job. JCL is a crucial part of mainframe operations, enabling batch processing, scheduling, and resource

REXX (Restructured Extended Executor): is a high-level, general-purpose scripting/programming language developed by IBM.

CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete): it refers to the four fundamental operations used to manage data in databases and applications. These operations are essential for interacting with databases and building data-driven applications.

RACF (Resource Access Control Facility): a software security product by IBM that provides access control and auditing for z/OS and z/VM operating systems. It's designed to manage user authentication, resource access, and logging for mainframe environments. Essentially, RACF helps organizations secure their mainframe environment by controlling who can access specific resources and what actions they can perform

z/OS Connect EE: a product that extends z/OS Connect, enabling you to expose and access z/OS assets (like CICS, IMS, Db2, and MQ) as RESTful APIs using JSON, says IBM. It allows for rapid development and deployment of APIs, simplifying integration with cloud and mobile applications, and leveraging the security and scalability of the z/OS platform
