Job Requirements for Legacy Mixed-Stack Developer (Classic ASP/VB.NET/C#)

Required Skills

• Classic ASP - maintaining legacy .asp files with VBScript

• jQuery, Bootstrap 3, JavaScript/HTML/CSS

• VB.NET and C# (.NET Framework 4.5-4.6.2)

• SOAP, WCF legacy web services

• Oracle Database with ADO.NET

• Oracle PL/SQL: packages, procedures, functions

• Relational Data modeling / Schema design

• Legacy codebase expertise - must be comfortable independently troubleshooting and learning complex, non-standard codebases with custom frameworks, minimal documentation, and extensive technical debt

Key Tools

• Visual Studio 2019+

• Oracle SQL Developer (VSCode extension)

• Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC) and Git source control with Azure DevOps

• Telerik Web UI components and legacy web controls

• SonarQube - static code analysis

Nice to Have

• Oracle Analytics Cloud

• ASP.NET MVC 5 with Razor views

• Healthcare/pharmaceutical industry experience
